Our grow focus

Grown for Flavor, Texture & Kitchen Creativity

Route 67 Mushrooms is focused on growing gourmet mushrooms with strong culinary appeal. Our first harvest varieties are Lion’s Mane and Black Pearl King Oyster — two mushrooms that bring bold texture, beautiful presentation, and serious versatility to the kitchen.

As production grows, future varieties will be shaped by chef requests, food truck interest, retail demand, and the needs of local buyers across DFW.

Lion’s Mane is one of the most visually distinctive gourmet mushrooms, known for its soft, shaggy appearance and tender bite. In the kitchen, it shines when seared, shredded, crisped, or used as the centerpiece of a dish.

Its texture makes it especially popular in plant-forward cooking, sandwiches, tacos, pasta, bowls, and chef specials.
